Play Fishin' Frenzy Scratchcard

Fishin' Frenzy Scratchcard by Blueprint Gaming takes the familiar fishing theme away from a reel grid and puts three different scratch games onto a single card. Each one has its own way of producing a prize, while revealing a Fisherman symbol can send us to the Reel of Fortune Bonus.  

It makes this a different way to encounter the Fishin' Frenzy series when browsing online games and other games at Smooth Spins. We can uncover matching amounts, search for Fish symbols and compare weights, so we're not repeating the same scratch condition across the whole card. There's also a separate Catch of the Day round reached through the bonus wheel. 

The sea is still at the centre of Fishin' Frenzy Scratchcard, although most of the screen is taken up by the tall scratchcard itself. Blue water fills the background, with coral and underwater scenery around the edges. The fisherman appears at the top of the card holding his catch, alongside the circular Fishin' Frenzy Bonus logo. 

The card is divided clearly into three numbered games. Tackle boxes are used in the first, life rings and Fish symbols appear in the second, while the third has five columns split between YOURS and THEIRS. Gold borders separate each area, so we can tell immediately which result belongs to which game. 

The Reel of Fortune changes the presentation considerably when it appears, covering much of the card with a large fishing-themed wheel. Catch of the Day then moves us to a separate 16-window screen filled with different fish designs. 

Fishin' Frenzy Scratchcard doesn't have a conventional slot paytable with fixed symbol combinations. Prizes are determined by the values revealed on the purchased card, so the table below shows how each relevant result awards its displayed prize rather than assigning fixed payouts that aren't part of the game. 

The Fisherman has a different purpose from the other symbols because revealing him activates the Reel of Fortune rather than awarding one of the three regular scratch-game results directly. 

Reel of Fortune Bonus 

A Fisherman can appear randomly while we're playing any of the three games on a card. When he does, the regular scratchcard gives way to the Reel of Fortune. 

The wheel contains multiplier prizes along with Green Arrow sections. A multiplier result gives us the corresponding value, while landing on a Green Arrow opens Catch of the Day. This means the Fisherman doesn't lead to the same result every time he appears.  

Catch of the Day 

Catch of the Day uses a separate screen containing 16 windows arranged in a 4x4 layout. Each window spins and has a chance to reveal a Fish. Each Fish that appears adds a prize and remains in its position on the board. 

The round continues while new Fish are being added. A spin that produces no new Fish ends the feature, at which point the accumulated winnings are awarded. Filling all 16 positions adds the Catch of the Day Big Money Multiplier to the final winnings. 

The main card contains three games, and each asks us to uncover something different.  

• Game 1 has four covered positions containing prize amounts. Matching two identical amounts awards that value. 
• Game 2 uses three covered positions. Here we're looking for Fish symbols, and any Fish revealed awards the prize associated with it. Up to three Fish can therefore appear within this part of the card. 
• Game 3 stretches across five columns. Each column contains a THEIRS value on the upper row and a YOURS value underneath it, with a prize displayed above. Our value has to be higher than theirs to win the prize for that column, giving us as many as five separate comparisons on the card. 

We can choose to play one, five or ten cards, while the Reveal All option uncovers the card without us having to reveal every covered area individually. 

• Fishin' Frenzy Even Bigger Fish continues the fishing theme with a reel-based format and features centred around the fisherman and his catches. 
• Fishin' Frenzy Big Catch Jackpot King combines the Fishin' Frenzy setting with the Big Catch format and Jackpot King. 
• Double Bubble Super 7 Scratchcard has four different games offering plenty of chances and variety. 

Fishin' Frenzy Scratchcard feels quite different when we approach it as three small games on one card instead of expecting the usual Fishin' Frenzy reel setup. The change of objective between each section helps: first we're matching amounts, then uncovering Fish, then checking five separate YOURS and THEIRS results. 

The bonus side goes further than we expected from the basic scratchcard layout. The Fisherman can take us away from the card entirely, first to the Reel of Fortune and potentially into the 16-window Catch of the Day round.  

We'd choose this version when we wanted Fishin' Frenzy without conventional reel spins. Players who prefer paylines, Wilds and reel combinations won't get those mechanics here, as the scratch-and-reveal format is the main point of the game.
