Fishin' Frenzy Even Bigger Fish takes a familiar fishing setup and steadily builds on it as the session progresses. Rather than relying on a single feature, Blueprint Gaming has designed the game around a chain of unlockable upgrades that remain active once they have been collected. We found ourselves paying as much attention to the progression system as the actual wins because every successful collect feature has the potential to add something new to future spins. 

While the fisherman and cash fish symbols will feel familiar to fans of fishing-themed online slots, the upgrade path gives this release a noticeably different rhythm. The game starts relatively simply, but as more features become available, the reels begin behaving very differently from how they looked at the beginning of the session. 

The setting takes place beneath calm waters filled with fishing equipment, floating fish, and the familiar angler who has appeared throughout much of the Fishin' Frenzy series. Blueprint Gaming has stayed close to the established theme rather than introducing a completely different environment. 

The reels use a clean design that keeps the important symbols easy to identify. Fish carrying cash values naturally draw the most attention, while the collect symbols stand out whenever they appear. We particularly liked that the upgrade trail remains visible beside the reels, constantly reminding us of what can still be unlocked. 

Animations are used with restraint. The focus stays on the features themselves rather than large visual effects, which helps when several cash symbols and collect mechanics start appearing together.

The Wild symbol substitutes for all regular symbols except Scatters, Collect symbols, and Cash symbols. Fish symbols carry cash values ranging from 0.5x up to 2,500x the stake, while jackpot fish can award Mini, Minor, Major, or Mega prizes worth 20x, 50x, 200x, and 2,500x respectively. 

Cash Collect 

At the start of the game, a Collect symbol is active on reel 6. Whenever cash fish land alongside an active Collect symbol, the symbol expands to cover the reel and gathers every visible cash value. Cash fish can carry values ranging from 0.5x up to 2,500x the total stake, while jackpot fish can award Mini, Minor, Major, or Mega prizes. 

Reel 'Em In 

The first upgrade unlocked is Reel 'Em In. Once activated, an additional Collect symbol becomes available on reel 1. Having active collection points on both sides of the reels creates more opportunities to gather cash values during both the base game and Bonus Spins. 

Bait 'N' Catch 

After Reel 'Em In has successfully collected prizes, Bait 'N' Catch becomes available. When triggered, active Collect symbols award respins, creating additional opportunities to land cash fish and increase the value of the collection.  

Bigger Catch 

Bigger Catch is unlocked after Bait 'N' Catch has been successfully collected. Bigger Catch adds up to 5x the total bet to all visible cash fish before they are collected.  

Pick A Fish 

Once unlocked, Pick A Fish can appear during collect wins. Three fish are displayed and selecting one reveals an instant cash prize.  

Bonus Spins 

Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols awards the Bonus Spins feature. Three Scatters trigger 10 Bonus Spins, while 4, 5, and 6 Scatters also award additional instant cash prizes. During the feature, all unlocked Collect symbols remain active, allowing cash fish values to be gathered just as they are in the base game. 

Reaching collection milestones awards extra spins together with increasing cash collection multipliers. The first milestone awards 5 additional Bonus Spins and a x2 multiplier, followed by x3, x5, and eventually x10 collection multipliers as further milestones are reached. 

Big Splash Bonus Spins 

Big Splash is the final upgrade on the progression trail. Once unlocked, future Bonus Spins triggers become Big Splash Bonus Spins instead of the standard version. 

Before the feature begins, a fish selection round awards one special upgrade for the duration of the bonus. Possible rewards include additional fish positions, extra Collect symbols, more jackpot fish, Two-Way Pays, improved fish values, or extra Bonus Spins. The Next Level upgrade can also start the feature from the first retrigger milestone, immediately activating a x2 collection multiplier. 

Because a different upgrade can be awarded each time, Big Splash Bonus Spins often play quite differently from one feature to the next. 

Fishin' Frenzy Even Bigger Fish uses a 6-reel layout with up to 4,096 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed by matching symbols on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel. During Big Splash Bonus Spins, Two-Way Pays can also become active, allowing combinations to form from either direction. 

Wild symbols can appear on reels 2 to 6 and substitute for most regular symbols. Scatter wins are paid separately from standard reel wins, and multiple Scatter features can be triggered from a single spin. 

What makes the mechanics stand out is the progression system. Instead of resetting after every feature, upgrades remain unlocked permanently once achieved.

What stood out most to us was the sense of progression. Many fishing games revolve around repeating the same collect feature throughout a session, but Fishin' Frenzy Even Bigger Fish gradually unlocks new mechanics that stay with the player. That creates a stronger feeling that each collect win is contributing towards something larger. 

We also liked that the upgrades are easy to understand. The game introduces them one at a time, so there is never much confusion about what has changed or why a feature has triggered. By the time Big Splash becomes available, the reels can behave quite differently from how they did at the start. 

The fishing theme itself remains familiar, but the evolving feature trail gives the game its own identity. Players who enjoy cash collection mechanics, jackpots, and long-term feature progression will likely find plenty to keep them interested here.
