Play Golden Winner Bonus Cherries

Golden Winner Bonus Cherries by Inspired takes a traditional fruit slot and gives its cherries three separate jobs through green, purple and blue Special Cash symbols. The game runs across five reels and 10 win lines, with regular fruit symbols sharing the reels with Collectors, Cash symbols and several ways of reaching the Bonus Game.  

There’s more going on here than the familiar fruit symbols initially suggest. Each cherry colour changes the Bonus Game in its own way, while a trail can extend the round and increase the multiplier applied to collected Cash values. For us, it gives the online slots selection at Smooth Spins a fruit-machine option with quite a few mechanics hidden behind a familiar layout. 

Gold dominates the screen, from the piles of bars beneath the reels to the glowing background and frames around the symbols. The reels themselves stick closely to classic fruit-machine imagery, using watermelons, oranges, grapes, strawberries, plums, 7s and BARs. 

The coloured cherries are where the design becomes more distinctive. Green represents Pots, purple is Reveal and blue is Spins, with the three labels sitting directly above the reels. The Special Cash symbols use the same three colours, so their purpose is easy to recognise once a Bonus Game begins.  

The regular symbol payouts below use a total stake of 1. Cash symbols have separate values and mechanics, which we cover after the table. 

Cash symbols use mixed pays, so different colours can combine on a winning line. Three award 1x, four award 5x and five award 15x the stake. Individual Cash symbols can also carry 1x or 2x, 5x or 8x values depending on whether one, two or three cherries are shown. 

Special Cash Symbols 

The three Special Cash symbol colours behave differently when activated by a Collector. Green Pots cherries reveal one of four pot prizes: Mini at 10x, Minor at 25x, Major at 50x or Grand at 100x the active stake. 

Purple Reveal cherries first award their displayed Cash value, then transform to reveal another Cash or Special Cash symbol, which is also collected. If the newly revealed symbol is another Special Cash symbol, its effect activates as well.  

Blue Spins cherries award their Cash value and then reveal 2, 3, 4 or 5 extra spins, which are added immediately.  

Bonus Game 

When a Special Cash symbol lands in view during the base game, there is a chance it will trigger a Bonus Game. It may increase in size when this happens, although its size doesn't affect the chance of the Bonus being awarded. When a Special Cash symbol triggers the round, that colour and its corresponding feature are active during the Bonus Game. 

Three or more Bonus Scatter symbols can also trigger the Bonus Game. Three Scatters activate one colour of Special Cash symbols present in the Bonus, four activate two colours and five activate all colours present.  

The round starts with 10 spins. Collector bells act as Wilds and collect the values of Cash and Special Cash symbols in view. Collected values also advance a 12-step trail above the reels. 

There are three enhanced stages on that trail. Reaching one awards an extra set of 10 spins, while the multiplier for collected Cash values rises to 2x at the first stage, 3x at the second and 10x at the third. The extra spins and increased multiplier take effect after the current set of spins has finished.  

Fortune Spins 

Fortune Spins provides a separate base-game mode. Its reels contain Cash symbols, Special Cash symbols, Bonus Scatters and Wild Collectors instead of the normal line symbols. Collectors gather Cash values, substitute for Cash symbols on line wins and activate Special Cash effects. If a blue Spins symbol awards extra spins in this mode, they use the current Fortune Spins reel set, and further extra spins can be added while they are being played. If a Bonus is awarded during these extra spins, it begins once the remaining Fortune Spins have been completed.  

Fortune Bet, Gamble and Spin Chance 

Fortune Bet raises the current stake to 1.5x and increases how often the Bonus activates, while feature awards otherwise follow the standard base-game rules. 

Eligible wins can enter the Gamble feature. One wheel can increase a Cash win by one third, double it or triple it, while another can gamble for the Bonus, Super Bonus or Mega Bonus. A green result awards the displayed outcome and red loses the amount being gambled. 

Spin Chance can appear automatically when our remaining credit drops below the current price of play but stays above zero. We can wager that credit for one more spin at the current bet, or leave with the remaining balance. 

Golden Winner Bonus Cherries uses five reels, three rows and 10 win lines. Wins run from left to right across adjacent reels, beginning on reel one, with only the highest award paid for each winning combination. Wins across separate lines are added together. 

Most symbols require at least three matches, although the Red 7 and Bell also pay for two matching symbols. Wilds substitute for line-win symbols except the Bonus Scatter, while Collector bells appear on all reels and act as Wilds during Bonus Games.

Golden Winner Bonus Cherries looks straightforward until the coloured cherries start affecting the game. We think separating Pots, Reveal and Spins by colour works well because each has a clear purpose without changing the basic five-reel format. 

The Bonus trail is the part that gives the round more depth. Reaching its enhanced stages can add further sets of spins and move collected Cash values through 2x, 3x and finally 10x multipliers. Fortune Spins also gives us a different way to use the same Cash and Collector mechanics without the regular fruit symbols. 

There is quite a lot to learn for a game with such traditional visuals, particularly once the three Special Cash effects and Bonus trail are considered. Players after a very basic fruit slot may find more here than expected, but the classic line-win structure remains underneath it all.
