Dynamite Roulette by Imagine Live takes European roulette underground, placing the live table inside a gold mine where dynamite has a direct role in every round. The regular roulette wheel and betting board are still at the centre of the game, but between one and 10 numbers receive enhanced straight-up payouts ranging from 50x to 1,000x.
That extra step happens before the winning number is determined, so we have more than the wheel to watch once betting closes. It's an online live game built around roulette first, with its mine setting and Dynamite sequence layered around the familiar format.
Dynamite Roulette commits fully to its setting. The dealer stands inside a mine surrounded by rock walls, wooden structures and red and purple lighting. The dealer's clothing fits the setting too, with a waistcoat and wide-brimmed hat giving the table a period-inspired look. During the Dynamite sequence, the presentation moves away from the standard live view. An animated miner character carries a stick of dynamite towards a large stone board containing the roulette numbers.
The explosion is more than decoration because it reveals the Dynamite numbers and their enhanced payouts for that round. Once those numbers have been selected, they are clearly marked on the betting layout. The result is quite theatrical, but we can still see the roulette board, previous results and our betting controls throughout the game.
Dynamite Roulette uses European roulette betting, while selected straight-up numbers can receive enhanced Dynamite payouts between 50x and 1,000x.
Every round can have between one and 10 Dynamite numbers. Once they are selected, each receives its own enhanced straight-up payout ranging from 50x to 1,000x. If the ball lands on one of these numbers and we have a straight-up bet on it, the displayed Dynamite payout applies.
The number of Dynamite positions changes between rounds, as do the values attached to them. Several numbers can receive different payouts in the same round, with values such as 50x, 75x, 100x and 150x appearing during the Dynamite reveal.
The Dynamite number selection has its own animated sequence built into the mine theme. A miner carrying dynamite appears in front of a stone board containing the roulette numbers. The explosion reveals which numbers have been selected and the payouts attached to them.
Those positions are then marked on the main betting layout, so we can see exactly which numbers have been affected before the roulette result is settled.
Dynamite Roulette includes neighbour bets and French bets alongside the main European roulette betting board. We can also use drag-and-drop chip placement and save favourite bets, which gives us several ways to manage wagers without changing the underlying roulette format.
These controls remain part of the main interface rather than becoming a separate part of the game. That matters here because the Dynamite sequence adds another stage to each round, while the usual roulette betting options are still available.
The interface also provides statistics and previous result information during play. Recent winning numbers are displayed beside the betting area, while the Statistics panel gives us a more detailed view of earlier results.
This information doesn't alter the outcome of a round, but it gives us a way to check previous results without leaving the live table.
Underneath the Dynamite sequence, this is European roulette with a single zero and numbers from 0 to 36. We place our wagers during the betting period, after which betting closes and the round proceeds towards the live wheel result.
Inside bets such as straight-up, split, street, corner and six-line wagers sit alongside outside options including red or black, odd or even, 1–18 or 19–36, dozens and columns. Neighbour and French bets provide another way of covering sections of the wheel.
The important change comes from the Dynamite numbers. Between one and 10 are selected in a round, with straight-up payouts on those numbers increased to values from 50x to 1,000x. The ball still decides the winning roulette number, so the enhanced payout only applies when the result matches a selected Dynamite number on which we've placed the required straight-up wager.
Dynamite Roulette has quite a lot happening around what is still a recognisable game of European roulette. We think that's an important distinction because the betting board doesn't disappear behind the theme. We can still place the standard range of roulette wagers and use neighbour bets, French bets and saved favourites.
The Dynamite sequence is where the game develops its own identity. Having anywhere from one to 10 selected numbers means the board can look noticeably different between rounds, and the 50x to 1,000x range gives straight-up wagers on those positions a different payout structure.
The mine studio is heavily themed, right down to the dealer's clothing and animated Dynamite sequence.
