Play Eagle: Cash Collect & Link

his title explores the North American wilderness through eagles, mountain scenery and several coin-based features. Playtech gives the game 30 win lines alongside Cash Collect symbols that gather visible coin values from the reels. Compared with many wildlife-themed online slots, we find that its identity comes less from the regular symbols and more from the connection between Cash Collect, Link coins, Free Games coins and four fixed prizes.

A wide desert valley stretches behind the reels, with red rock formations, tall cacti and large clouds that go over the mountains. The reel frame uses gold edging and a deep red interior, keeping the animal portraits and coloured card symbols easy to distinguish. Cougars, wolves, snakes, ceremonial masks and bald eagles support the North American theme. The eagle is central to the presentation as well as the gameplay. Its portrait can fill an entire reel, with the bird shown standing against a blue background before the Wild label appears below it. Golden light and a swirling wind effect accompany the reveal of further full height Wilds. Cash Collect animations are equally direct, drawing the relevant coins towards the collecting symbol before displaying their combined potential value. During Collect & Link, the regular background remains visible while held coins take priority across the grid. 

The values below present payout multipliers that apply to the total bet. 

The eagle is the Wild and substitutes for every regular symbol. It does not replace Coin or Cash Collect symbols. Coin symbols carry individual values or feature instructions rather than forming ordinary line combinations. 

Cash Collect 

Cash Collect symbols can appear on reel 1, reel 5 or both outer reels. Whenever one lands, it gathers all eligible coins visible anywhere on the grid. Those coins may contain direct cash values, fixed prizes or Free Games awards. Having collectors available on both sides of the reel set gives the feature a little more flexibility than a standard setup restricted to the final reel. If Cash Collect lands on reels 1 and 5 during the same result, each collector participates in gathering the displayed coins. 

Collect & Link 

A Cash Collect symbol appearing with a Link coin triggers Collect & Link. The feature begins with three spins on a 5 by 3 grid. Coins that land are held in place, and each additional collected symbol resets the counter to three. The round ends once no spins remain or all 15 positions have been occupied. Any visible coin values are then totalled as a potential feature payout. 

Mega Link 

Mega Link triggers the same Collect & Link round but places multipliers on random grid positions. A coin landing in one of these marked positions has its value multiplied by the displayed figure. These multipliers apply to eligible cash coins rather than Prize Coins. Their usefulness depends on which coin values occupy the enhanced positions before the round finishes. 

Sky King Free Games 

Sky King Free Games begin when at least one Free Games coin appears together with Cash Collect. The numbers printed on all Free Games coins in the triggering result are combined to determine the number of awarded spins. Cash Collect symbols may continue to appear during the round and gather every eligible coin currently on the reels. A collector that lands in Free Games can remain frozen on screen for as many as ten spins. 

Nudge Feature 

A non-triggering base game result may activate the Nudge Feature. Reel 1 or reel 5 then moves to bring a Cash Collect symbol into view, completing the collection result that had narrowly missed. 

Cash Collect Prizes and Eagle’s Grand Prize 

Prize Coins can reveal one of four fixed awards: Mini, Minor, Major or Grand. The particular prize is selected at random and its value is determined by the active bet. These awards can potentially occur more than once. The Grand has a second route during Collect & Link. Filling all 15 grid positions with coins awards the Eagle’s Grand Prize in addition to the values already collected from the grid. 

This game uses five reels, three rows and 30 fixed win lines. Regular combinations begin on the leftmost reel and continue across adjacent reels from left to right. Only the highest win is counted on each line. The traditional line system remains active beneath the more elaborate coin features. Picture symbols account for the stronger regular payouts, while the four card ranks occupy the lower end of the table. Eagle Wilds can complete or improve these line combinations by replacing the required regular symbols. Coins do not need to create a standard payline. Their purpose depends on what is printed on them and whether Cash Collect appears in the same result. A simple value coin contributes its displayed amount, while Link, Mega Link, Prize and Free Games coins change how the collection is handled. This separation makes the basic spins easy to follow, although understanding every possible coin type takes a little longer.

We found Eagle: Cash Collect & Link easy to understand, particularly because its 30 win lines and ordinary symbol payouts remain separate from the coin features. The best part is the way several bonuses grow from the same Cash Collect idea. Link coins lead to respins, Mega Link adds multiplier positions, and Free Games coins determine the length of the bonus round. The presentation is clear, but the North American wildlife theme follows a well established pattern. Cougars, wolves, eagles and desert scenery will feel familiar if we have seen similar slot games before. We would also have liked the regular spins to contain another distinctive interaction beyond the occasional nudge. Even so, the two possible Cash Collect reels, persistent Free Games collectors and alternative route to the Grand give the feature set enough variation for those who prefer coin-collection mechanics.
