MegaJackpots Da Vinci Diamonds keeps the look simple yet engaging and makes it enjoyable to play. The setting feels more like a quiet art museum than a traditional slot game, with portrait paintings acting as the symbols and large coloured gemstones. Some of the artwork clearly takes inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci paintings, especially the Mona Lisa symbol that appears as the higher-paying portrait. What we liked most is that the game never becomes visually messy. The background is quite dark which makes the bright gems and symbols in frames really stand out when the reels spin. After a win the reels tumble smoothly and it is easy to follow what is happening. The meter for the jackpot is always there beside the reels, making it feel like you are making progress. There are animations throughout the features, but nothing feels overdone. 

There are two kinds of payouts, one is for the Base game and the other is the Bonus Spins feature payout.

The Wild symbol is really helpful because it can replace all the symbols in the game except for the Bonus symbol. It shows up on reels 2, 3 and 4 while playing the game.

Symbols that land in the middle row are collected and all the multipliers that are shown are added together and added to the total win. We also liked that the Bonus Spins round is simple and easy to understand. It keeps the pace moving. The base game has some moments where nothing really happens between spins but the slot game is still fun because the jackpot is always there right next to the reels the whole time you are playing the game.  

We think this game works best for players who enjoy classic slots with modern features layered into the gameplay in a more natural way.
